The Sharjah–Lübeck Dual Degree Program is a prestigious international doctoral exchange between the University of Sharjah and the University of Lübeck. Eligibility
To qualify for the Sharjah–Lübeck Dual Degree Program, students must first be admitted to the PhD program in Molecular Medicine at the University of Sharjah (UoS). The program is designed to identify and support top candidates early in their doctoral journey.
Admission Process
| Initial Admission to UoS Applicants begin by enrolling in the PhD program in Molecular Medicine at the University of Sharjah. |
| Academic Foundation & Orientation During the first year, students complete foundational coursework and are introduced to the research environment through: Regular scientific seminars The annual research retreat These activities offer valuable opportunities for students to explore research areas, engage with faculty, and identify potential Principal Investigators (PIs) for their doctoral project. |
| Application to the Dual Degree Track Interested candidates formally apply to the Sharjah–Lübeck Dual Degree Program in September of their first year. Successful applicants are admitted to the dual program in January, following a joint review process in collaboration with the University of Lübeck (UzL). |
